The painting appears to be in very good and stable condition. Under UV examination, there appears to be a small amount of inpainting running along the very bottom of the painting adjacent to the frame. The remainder of the painting shows no evidence of inpainting or previous restoration. The signature on the lower right is strong and original with no sign of alteration or fluorescence. The painting is signed and dated in verso in the artist's hand.
